Star Wars: Empire vs. Rebellion

A two-player card game that recreates conflicts from the Galactic Civil War using character and event cards. Players take turns increasing their faction’s presence at a contested event by drawing and playing resource cards, activating abilities, or exhausting cards to trigger powers. Each resource card contributes toward an event’s objective value; exceeding that value causes discovery and hands the event to the opponent. Strategic choices balance building power with avoiding detection, while special abilities, diplomacy, reconnaissance, and Force-related effects alter outcomes on the table. Victory comes from claiming enough events to secure dominance in the galactic struggle.

Es un blackjack con habilidades en las cartas, faroleo, personajes especiales y estrategias para las rondas. Dependes mucho de que te digan las cartas y los planetas que conquistar, pero eso ya pasaba con el blackjack... Para lo poco que ocupa bien, pero te aporta parecido a lo que te aportaría una baraja de cartas

A quick and easy 2-player card game. PROS - It is pretty easy to teach and learn. - Some interesting decisions come around, especially when selecting and using the characters. - There is a (small) window for bluffing that can be fun. CONS - Sometimes the game feels like you are playing in autopilot mode, with no real decisions you can make to win the event.
