An expansion introduces a campaign board that lets players send forces beyond Egypt to conquer neighboring regions for in-game benefits and additional scoring opportunities. Players draft and roll new dice to muster Soldiers and recruit Priests, deploy armies to resolve conflicts, and contest control of artifacts that provide ongoing effects and scoring. Conquest increases interaction and forces players to balance military actions with civic and religious deeds. The set also provides advanced rules tuned to improve the two-player experience.
