When the party reaches the village of Goldendale, they find a shortage of metal goods and growing concern over the local blacksmith’s inability to complete even simple work. Though his hammer rings throughout the night, something has placed a burden on the otherwise respected craftsman. This 24-page sidetrek details the village, its inhabitants, and the locations and opposition the party must investigate to uncover the mystery. Designed for characters of levels 2–4, it includes adventure hooks, mapped encounters, and stat blocks for the foes, and can be used with 5th or earlier classic editions of Dungeons & Dragons in any setting.
