The Brass Jar

A family moves into a house in Pleasant Acres that has stood empty since a series of murders. After an antique brass jar is found in the basement, objects disappear, strange sounds echo through the house, and a mute, filthy child appears at the back door before fleeing into the woods. This story roleplaying game uses the Protocol system, with players taking the roles of directors and characters as they frame vignettes, interrogations, interludes, and ensemble scenes. It requires three or more players, a deck of poker cards, and tokens for tracking drama points. This one-sheet provides charts only and requires a separate Protocol game or Protocol Prime for the rules.
