The Castles of Burgundy: 6th Expansion – The Cloisters

Adds five cloister tiles that enter the central black depot one per round in place of a normal black-backed tile. Players may purchase a cloister from the depot for 2 silverlings and store it in the reserved slot on their player board. Owned cloisters are placed onto an empty estate space that is adjacent to an existing tile and matches the player’s die. Cloisters have no active effect after placement but count toward region size: each cloister increases its region’s size by one, though any region containing a cloister is capped at a maximum size of eight.
