A 24-page tabletop roleplaying supplement for creating detailed non-player characters during play. The 1000 Faces technique uses 48 fast d100 tables to define an NPC’s personality, desires, struggles, and other traits, even when only a name or ancestry was prepared. Diceless tables provide quick options for adding depth without revealing the process to players, while 100 pre-rolled traits cover fantasy, science fiction, western, eastern, and horror settings. The material can also help players develop characters beyond classes, equipment, and powers.
