The Pursuit of Happiness

Players guide a character from birth through a simulated lifetime, managing time as the primary resource. They take jobs, pursue careers and projects, develop hobbies and skills, acquire items, and form relationships and families. Gameplay uses a worker-placement style where turns represent blocks of time; players allocate time to activities that build achievements, income, happiness, and legacy. Decisions about work, leisure, education, and family affect available actions and long-term outcomes, and the game tracks accomplishments and happiness to determine success at the end of a life.
