Players mine for tin and copper in nineteenth-century Cornwall, timing sales to take advantage of fluctuating prices. They place developments—ports, adits, and trains—to lower extraction costs and improve efficiency. Earned money is invested into industries outside Cornwall to score victory points, with earlier investments yielding greater returns. Gameplay revolves around resource management, market timing, and strategic placement of developments to maximize profits and points.
