West of Africa: Wineries

Players can build wineries on the islands, with no more than one winery per island. Each winery costs 8 gold and requires one of the owner’s workers to occupy it, allowing a passive worker to become active. When a winery marker is sold from its island’s warehouse, its owner earns 3 additional gold. Other players may use the winery, with 1 gold going to the seller and 1 to the winery’s owner. The worker counts when determining the island’s Alcalde and leaves when used for cultivation or moved, removing the winery from the board until it is purchased again.
