Aachen: First to Fall

This tactical game depicts the October 1944 battle for Aachen, as Allied forces assault the city and the surrounding West Wall defenses. Players maneuver formations through fortified positions and urban terrain while managing limited support assets, including mortars, anti-tank guns, artillery, and fighter-bombers. Combat uses an attritional system in which formations can take casualties and operate at reduced strength. Victory depends on coordinating movement and firepower, selecting attacks carefully, and allocating support assets as the battle develops.
