In a Wild West town overrun by outlaws, players join forces to reclaim their home and collect bounties, while sharing the danger but not the rewards. Players use cards to build reputations, alter their shooting speed, capture outlaws, and unleash barrages by discarding their hands. Outlaws strike back with surprise attacks and unique abilities, while other players can impose hindrances involving silly performance prompts. Failing to complete a prompt forces card discards, making later shootouts more difficult. Finishing a drink provides permanent upgrades, though alcohol is optional and never used as punishment.
