3rd World

A science-fiction setting for the HERO System, set on Earth in the 23rd century after a devastating alien invasion. Humanity survives as a second-class population while the planet is divided among the alien races that intervened, with former nations broken apart and Earth’s resources controlled by the Co-Operative and its factions. The setting explores the remnants of human cultures, competing alien interests, and the efforts of people from many species to shape a new future on a damaged world. It provides background and campaign material for adventures amid political division, cultural conflict, and the uncertain rebuilding of Earth.
