Players cooperate to defend a threatened village from encroaching horrors in a dark fantasy setting. The game combines tower defense with worker placement, bag-building, asymmetric player powers, and a fog-of-war mechanic that hides board information. The map evolves as the corrupted forest spreads, changing terrain, enemies, and available actions over the course of play. Players allocate workers, manage and build their bags, upgrade abilities, and coordinate defenses against waves of enemies whose strength and form shift with the unfolding corruption. Survival and resource management determine success as the village and its defenders transform under the forest’s influence.
