Templates cover themes including undead, demons, devils, apocalyptic riders, constructs, and other unusual transformations, with challenge rating modifiers ranging from -4 to +6. Guidelines explain how to apply templates, combine them with one another, and use some with player characters. Each entry includes a sample creature with ready-to-use statistics, challenge ratings from 1/2 to 24, and a complexity rating for quick reference.
