ALDR: The High Sage

Players draft cards and place them tactically to form four elemental patterns on the tableau. Each turn involves card placement and positioning of sage figures to create and contest areas of influence. A central master figure can be moved to alter the board and restrict opponents’ placement options. The first player to deploy all four sages wins, making pattern-building, spatial planning and interaction the core challenges. The box also includes rules to integrate the cards and mechanics into the related elemental game as an expansion.
