Players explore a hidden realm of dreams and nightmares while also managing events in the waking world. The box offers two linked campaigns that can be played separately or joined into a single, larger narrative. One to four investigators split between those who venture into the Dreamlands and those who remain in the waking world, resolving scenarios, gathering clues, and confronting two ancient threats that influence both planes. The expansion supplies campaign cards, scenario setups, and set-aside encounter content; it requires the core game to play.
