Magic enters the world of the kingdom, giving players a sixth action: casting powerful spells. Spells require mana, which can be collected only from specific locations on the board, making control of these spaces a central part of play. The expansion adds new ways to bend the rules without introducing luck, increasing tension as players compete for territory and resources. It also includes components for a fifth player, with new tiles, wooden pieces, and a player aid.
