Bomber Command: The Night Raids

Bomber Command: The Night Raids is a board game for 2 players. It plays in 120 minutes and is meant for ages 12 and up.

A simulation of the RAF night bombing campaign over Germany, 1943–1945, and the Luftwaffe’s night-fighter defence. Players command opposing forces: one directs bomber raids with main forces, Mosquito diversions, mining and decoy operations; the other deploys night-fighter tactics, flak and Himmelbett zone defences. Actions are driven by separate card decks for each side that model radar, electronic countermeasures and operational factors. A raid-scale air-combat system resolves interceptions and a detailed bombing resolution handles target marking and area bombing at night. Two scenarios cover the Battle of Berlin period and the later collapse of the Luftwaffe; full raids typically play in about two hours.
