Catan Scenarios: Frenemies

Players take part in a set of competitive scenarios that reward and exploit cooperative actions. The game introduces Favor Tokens awarded by different guilds for giving resources, moving the robber, connecting roads, or otherwise assisting other players; each guild’s favors grant specific benefits such as roads, development cards, resources, trade advantages, or victory points. Players decide when to help rivals to gain favors and when to turn that assistance into advantage, balancing short-term cooperation against long-term self-interest. The expansion supports additional players with extra tokens for larger games.
