Players enter a modern world where angels and demons wage a hidden war for human souls, shortly before the events surrounding the Spear of Destiny, the Son of Satan, and a fallen archangel. They create a character by selecting an origin, abilities, equipment, companions, and drawbacks, then use those choices to determine how they become involved in the unfolding supernatural conflict. The scenario focuses on surviving the coming crisis while pursuing personal goals and alliances.
