Cthulhu Wars: Great Old One Pack One

Adds five new Great Old Ones to the base game, each of which is claimed on a first-come, first-served basis and can be killed and reawakened by other players. Players gain a variety of asymmetric powers and unique spellbooks that alter core mechanics: placing persistent Filth tokens that participate in combat; modifying Elder Sign resolution and forcing immediate battles; converting kills into Elder Signs and generating power from damage to the owner; spawning multiple cultists cheaply and reserving defeated enemy units for re-use; and giving cultists poison that kills their eaters while pressuring opponents to give up power or allow doom to advance. Each Great Old One changes strategic choices and interacts with area control, combat resolution, and resource (power/doom) management.
