Defenders in the Mist

Players take the roles of ghosts who remain in the Mist, a liminal realm shielding the living world from unknowable forces. By possessing animals, they protect those they left behind from otherworldly horrors. The game uses a setting grid with Backstory Cards. Players take turns drawing cards and answering their prompts, incorporating random elements from the grid to develop a dynamic campaign or one-shot outline.
