Players collect Moon Shards to advance the lunar cycle, triggering a transformation that grants powerful new attacks and abilities while forcing a change in control and available options. Gameplay centers on managing the timing and cost of transformations, balancing graceful human abilities with dangerous beast powers. Players roll dice to resolve attacks, play cards to augment actions and reactions, and track status effects that carry over between cycles as the moon waxes and wanes.
