Dig Your Way Out: Dig In Expansion

An expansion that adds a roaming non-player Warden and seven optional new locations to the base game. The Warden patrols the board, sending troublesome inmates to solitary but can be bribed in advance to influence play later. The six alternative places replace existing spots to alter available actions: the Library grants new Backgrounds and gives limited insight into opponents' hands; Gambling lets players risk cigarettes and plan moves on toilet paper; the Laundry eases gang recruitment and provides bandages for crafting or healing; the Workshop improves digging skills and upgrades Tools; the Gym builds fight readiness and can trigger multi-player brawls; the Psychiatric Ward inflicts Trauma that limits actions until healed. All new places are optional and mix independently to create varied prison layouts and strategies.
