Dungeons and Dragons Chariot Racing

These rules add chariot races to a fantasy roleplaying campaign, suitable for imperial celebrations, victory ceremonies, or other events chosen by the game master. Characters compete on the track while handling their chariots and dealing with the hazards of the race. The rules are designed for early editions of the game and can also be used with later editions by replacing saving throws and charioteering checks with Reflex saves against a listed Difficulty Class. A dedicated Chariot Driving skill can be used for recurring races.
