This sourcebook for the Cthulhu Mythos focuses on sinister locations such as crooked houses, abandoned factories, dark forests, crime scenes, execution sites, and remote sanatoria. It presents playable locations and guidance for creating places whose inhabitants, atmosphere, or history conceal something dangerous. Six adventures set in the 1920s place these locations at the center of the story. The characters investigate a strange lake in Scotland, aid a friend in a decaying sanatorium, witness supernatural events in an old cemetery, explore a disused slaughterhouse and a dark village, and travel as far as the stars.
