In the bog, giant dragonflies act as neutral allies, hunting the mosquitoes while the party fights among difficult terrain, floating islands of foliage, swamp gas, wind, and water currents. The encounter includes guidance for scaling difficulty, accounting for friendly or neutral creatures, and handling flight. Altered creature abilities support struggles between dragonflies and mosquitoes, while scene and prop notes provide ways to make the terrain and movement more reactive without extensive preparation.
