Investigators move through a haunted version of Arkham, visiting over twenty locations from diners and curio shops to asylums and remote isles while gates to Other Worlds open across the city. Players send investigators on timed adventures by resolving dice-driven encounters, acquire lasting skills, and join factions such as a street gang or a secret lodge to gain benefits. New Ancient Ones and new investigators expand threats and options, and the group manages resources, strength, and sanity to close gates and prevent reality from unraveling.
