Players take the roles of over-the-top battle wizards competing in a chaotic, card-driven arena. Each player builds and customizes a spell deck by drafting and upgrading spell components, then casts volatile combinations to damage rivals and survive rounds until one wizard remains. The game uses hand management, drafting, and tableau-building as players assemble spells from cards and resolve effects that can cause direct damage, area effects, and unpredictable chain reactions. It functions as a standalone card game and offers compatibility with components from the earlier title in the same series.
