It provides background on society, the colonies, supernatural threats, and guidance for running investigations in the gaslight era, along with a booklet describing strange locations across Britain for use as handouts. Three adventures take investigators from the wilds of Wales to a London gripped by madness and encounters with extradimensional creatures. The revised and expanded material adds new setting information and game content for the Keeper.
