Heroes Welcome

Players run rival frontier businesses in a settlement built beside newly opened zone portals, selling goods and services to returning adventurers or supplying monsters that oppose them. Play alternates between a Town Phase—where players operate shops, use guildhalls, and craft artifacts to prepare for incoming customers—and a Dungeon Crawl Phase—where heroes go off to fight, gain loot and levels, and then return with goods and gold that merchants and monster-suppliers can claim. Competition for territory, resources, and Vorpal pieces drives scoring; the game ends after a final boss encounter and the player with the most victory points wins.
