Players take the role of one of ten competing magicians in late-19th-century salons, each with a distinct magical specialty. The game uses cards to represent tricks, mentalism effects, close-up illusions and theatrical feats that players perform to earn prestige. On a turn, players play and combine trick cards, manage hand and resources, and resolve audience reactions to score points. Interaction comes from contesting tricks, influencing the crowd, and disrupting opponents’ performances as the competition progresses toward a final, high-stakes show.
