Players take the role of rival naval powers exploring a newly discovered archipelago. Through hand-managed cards they reveal islands, send additional ships, mine resources and raise market prices. Cards also enable building fortifications to hinder opponents and establishing trading posts to boost production. The game focuses on card-driven economy and resource management as players sell goods to accumulate wealth and compete to become the richest explorer.
