Kilauea

Players take the role of Mo’o, lizard-like spirits, and build Tiki columns to honor Pele across a shared volcanic island and a personal island board. On a rondel, each turn a player moves to a space and chooses one of three actions: cut down Tikis from the forests, place a Tiki in a volcano area, or place a Tiki on their personal island. Volcano areas are scored twice during the game based on the heights and colors of columns, and those values are multiplied by matching Tikis on each player’s island. Players track changing color values and manage placements to maximize multiplied scoring while reacting to opponents’ moves.
