Kingsburg: To Forge a Realm
This expansion adds modular options for customizing the game and varying each session. It includes two additional rows of buildings, alternative building rows that give each player a different board, and unique Characters that provide a special ability throughout the game. More than twenty Events are shuffled, with one revealed at the start of each year to affect all players. An alternative winter reinforcement system replaces the die with numbered tokens, allowing players to receive a predetermined number of extra soldiers from the King.

Kush5,2 I can see why this game is apprecited. However, dice placement games have come a long way since then and I would not care to play this again. Having said that, I can't imagine playing this without the expansion— would be quite dull.

Tom8,5 The new building sheets and extra building rows are a must. The special characters are also quite fun. The event cards are more of a pain than anything else, and I DO NOT LIKE the soldier variant.
