Players construct a tiered, 3D koi pond and populate it with colorful koi while pursuing game-specific objectives. Turns consist of two recurring actions: one to draw cards, gain currency, and acquire koi from the market, and another to activate a Sensei’s abilities and place multi-layer tiles to shape the pond. Players score by meeting dynamic goals, arranging features like bridges and lanterns, and optimizing tile placement and koi placement for points. A solo mode offers a single-player puzzle-style challenge.
