This horror role-playing game is set in the universe and writings of H. P. Lovecraft. Players take the roles of investigators in the 1920s or other periods, uncovering ancient secrets and confronting creatures and places beyond human understanding. Their investigations can lead to the true nature of the universe, and to the edge of madness. This 400-page, full-color edition uses the Basic system and includes corrected sixth-edition rules, a new campaign, a complete grimoire of Mythos spells, an eight-page Mythos atlas, essays on Lovecraft and his circle, and a retrospective of 110 published works. It is compatible with supplements from the game’s first thirty years.
