Players join a team of mutant heroes trying to stop a dystopian timeline where giant Sentinels hunt mutants under Nimrod’s control. Gameplay centers on cooperative card-driven actions: players use hero decks, abilities, and teamwork to damage and disrupt towering Sentinel activation protocols that adapt to the heroes’ moves. The Sentinels follow an automated activation sequence that escalates threats each round, so players coordinate to prioritize targets, manage timing, and prevent Nimrod from fully powering up.
