Players take on the roles of rival tribes vying for favor from powerful deities in a ritualized Mesoamerican setting. The expansion adds three large god figures with distinct abilities and strategies, integrating new components that alter how deities influence play. New modules and variants introduce alternate setups and the option to face a solo vengeful god, changing scoring, interactions, and tactical priorities.
