A contemporary investigative roleplaying game set ten years after a sudden mutation event gives 1% of the population extraordinary powers. Players take the roles of detectives in an elite unit handling crimes involving the mutant community, from murders committed with superpowers to mutant victims and cases of mind control or dream observation. The game combines forensic investigation, interrogations, chases, mutant battles, and political tensions between authorities and mutants. Characters use specialized scientific procedures to analyze power-related evidence, while the GUMSHOE system provides the clues needed to move each mystery toward its solution.
