Once heroes of its kingdoms, they leave behind ordinary lives to defend the realm against a real and terrible threat. The supplement provides location seeds, fantasy themes including epic adventure, steampunk, talking animals, and riddles, along with rules for creating talismans. A milestone system tracks characters’ advancement or regression, and a sample adventure, The Threshing Stone, introduces the setting.
