No Retreat!: The Russian Front 1941-1944

Two players reenact the Eastern Front conflict from 1941–1944, commanding the invading German forces or the Soviet defenders across a hex map of Russia. Play blends classic hex-and-counter maneuver with a card-driven event hand; each turn players move, attack, exploit encirclements, and resolve Events that alter tempo and logistics. Units represent armies or fronts, each hex equals 100 km, and turns cover two-month periods of the campaign. An economic model tracks the growth and strain of forces over the four-year span, and victory can be achieved through multiple objective conditions specified by scenario.
