Nucleum: Turbine Development Tiles Promo
Adds a small set of upgrade tiles that alter turbine setup and provide new effects when turbines are built. During setup four Turbine Development tiles are placed on an Offer area and the rest are removed. While performing the Industrialize action to build a turbine, a player may spend Achievement tokens (cost based on the turbine’s meeple cost: 1/2/2/3) to take one offered Turbine Development tile and place it on their player board in place of the newly placed turbine; only one such tile may be gained per game. When performing an Energize action, players receive turbine bonuses from their placed turbines and the extra benefits printed on the Turbine Development tile, with counts determined by the turbine’s level.

How many Turbine Development tiles do we put out during setup?
Place the Offer tile above the board, randomly select 4 of the 8 Turbine Development tiles for it, and return the rest to the box (p. 1).
When can I take a Turbine Development tile, and what does it cost?
While taking the Industrialize action to build a Turbine, you may spend Achievement tokens to gain a tile. The cost is 1, 2, 2, or 3 Achievement tokens, depending on the Turbine’s meeple cost (p. 1).
Do I still place the Turbine if I take a Development tile?
No. Place the Development tile on your Player board in place of the Turbine you just placed; you may gain only 1 Development tile during the game (p. 1).
When do I use the bonus on my Turbine Development tile?
When you perform an Energize action, receive its benefit along with the normal bonuses from all your placed Turbines (p. 1).
What does the “X” on a Turbine Development tile mean?
