Expands the original setting with new lineage mechanics, quests, and systems for long-form play. Players develop a family’s legacy, pursue quests and intrigues, and build an enduring empire across multiple chronicles. Hundreds of new cards introduce alternative paths, new interactions, and ways to alter the game’s evolving state so each playthrough changes the ongoing history. New foundation rules support both newcomers and veterans, enabling persistent campaigns and varied strategic approaches to shaping the emergent narrative.
