Vlkodlaci za úsvitu

Players receive hidden roles with unique abilities and act simultaneously during a single fast round of morning discussion and deduction. Each player uses their special power and shared clues to deduce who is a werewolf; finding one werewolf is enough for the villagers to win. The set adds eleven new roles and can be played alone for 3–7 players or mixed with the original game to expand the player count up to ten.

Otázky k pravidlům

Odpovědi z pravidel od asistenta pravidel Ludoya.

Can the Sentinel place a shield on the center cards or on their own card, and what does the shield actually block?

The Sentinel may place a shield token on any player's card except his own and may not place it on the center cards; a shielded card may not be viewed or moved and may not receive an Artifact, and it prevents the Witch, Robber, Drunk, and Insomniac from using or viewing that card (and can stop the Drunk's mandatory effect). (page 2)

When the Alpha Wolf swaps the Center Werewolf, can they swap with another Werewolf or with their own card?

The Alpha Wolf must exchange the Center Werewolf card with any other player’s card but may not exchange with his own card or another Werewolf’s card; the exchange is done without looking at either card. (page 2)

If the Curator or Doppelgänger places an Artifact on my card, when do I look at it and does it change my role/abilities?

At the end of the night any player with an Artifact must secretly look at it immediately; Artifact tokens override the card they are placed on and can change your role and remove any special powers or win conditions associated with the original card. (page 5)

How and when does the Doppelgänger copy another role, and does she get that role’s night wake later?

The Doppelgänger copies whatever card she initially views and immediately performs any immediate night action of that role (for many Daybreak roles), and depending on the role she copied she may or may not wake again with that role later—some copied roles cause the Doppelgänger to wake later (e.g., Revealer/Curator), while others do not. (pages 6–7)

If the Revealer flips over a Werewolf or the Tanner, should it stay face up for everyone to see?

The Revealer may flip any other player's card face up but if the revealed card is a Werewolf or Tanner it must then be flipped back face down; the Revealer only flips one card face up even if it’s a Werewolf or Tanner. (page 4)

What does the Bodyguard do when votes are tallied—who actually dies if the Bodyguard is pointing at the top vote-getter?

If the Bodyguard is pointing at the player with the most votes, that player cannot be killed; instead the player with the next most votes (at least two) is killed, and when Bodyguard is in the game all players should immediately turn their cards over after the vote to check this. (page 4)
