Operation Unfathomable

A gonzo subterranean wilderness adventure where explorers navigate an internally consistent underworld filled with strange hazards, hostile factions, and unpredictable events. The dungeon includes environmental phenomena such as cave lightning, sudden seismic shifts, and magical transportation, along with more than two dozen unusual creatures and NPCs. Combat is only one way to deal with the underworld’s inhabitants. Players can negotiate, form temporary truces, or make unlikely alliances while exploring dangerous areas and adapting to encounters that are not designed to be balanced. The setting provides enough locations, factions, and encounters to support an extended campaign.
