Price of Honour

A campaign module set in Japan in 999 A.D., where the Minamoto and Taira clans form an uneasy alliance against the bakemono lord Enezga, who has seized territories in Iwami province. With the sorcerer Sushigawa and the Sword of Seven Cuts at his side, Enezga has slain local kami and defiled Buddhist temples. Players face a war on two fronts: driving the invading forces from Iwami while navigating political rivalries in the Imperial Court, where the Fujiwara clan seeks to preserve its influence. Victory can bring the allied clans greater standing, but defeat threatens both their territories and their position at court.
