Resisting Revolution: A Cuba Libre Expansion

Resistance and revolution in Castro’s Cuba, from the rebel victory in 1959 through the 1962 confrontation with the United States. Players guide the revolutionary Government, US-backed attempts to overthrow it, growing Soviet influence, or urban and rural Resistance. New mechanics cover leaders, escalation, intelligence, materiel, and regional alignment. The expansion also includes a two-player game exploring alternate Bay of Pigs invasions, new Event cards for Cuba Libre, and a three-player variant scenario.
