Root the RPG: The Bertram's Cove Quickstart

War has returned to the Woodland, and the clearing of Bertram’s Cove has become a vital logistical resource for the factions fighting over it. Players take the roles of vagabonds who travel between clearings, accepting jobs others cannot or will not do and deciding whom to serve, if anyone. This quickstart includes the core rules, six pregenerated characters, combat weapon moves, map and clearing generation systems, and a faction system representing the war. It also provides important NPCs, locations, conflicts, and a complete prewritten clearing for one or two sessions.
