Historical simulation of the 1918–1921 conflict that overthrows the Czarist regime and shapes the early Soviet state. Players control factions drawn from revolutionary, counter-revolutionary, nationalist and interventionist forces, and can form shifting alliances or even attack their own units when tactically useful. Gameplay combines military operations with political maneuvering: move and battle with large numbers of leader and unit counters, contest territory, and pursue objectives tied to either the revolutionary or counter-revolutionary side. Special rules model the Politburo Central Committee, Purges, the Czar and the Imperial Gold. Optional rules support multiple players or solitaire play, and the game includes historical and design notes plus a concise rules summary.
